Am I overthinking/ Is He Into Me?

I met a guy maybe a month and a half ago on tinder. We hit it off, and went on a lunch date. The next date he took me out to a baseball game and paid for everything. Though we have a great time on our dates we don’t text in between the next dates? I’m not saying we have to text everyday but I won’t hear from him until the day of the date. We’ve been on 4 dates now.

When I do text him during the week he takes hours to respond back. So I think he’s not into me and so I just think to move on but then he texts me and asks me out again?

He invited me to his house for movies and food and we did just that and had fun. He hasn’t made a move or flirted with me and I’m a bit nervous to do that and get shut down because I can’t get a good read on him!

I feel like we are hanging more as friends which I genuinely like and appreciate because I would prefer to have a good friendship with a potential partner/bf but how can we develop that more when we only talk/text once a week for a few hours? Idk what he even wants out of this? Should I just ask?

Am I overthinking? I was going to invite him to my place for movies and dinner too and maybe make a move but unsure if this is normal and if I should stop wasting my time.
