sharp pain on right side of pelvis when touched

this weekend I noticed when I touch the right side of my pelvis there is a sharp pain and it feels somewhat hard but you have to push pretty hard to feel that. I’m not really sure what’s causing it… I went to my gyno this morning and they said everything looked normal and didn’t see any cysts from the looks of it but said to have a vaginal ultrasound to be safe. I’m really nervous and not sure if it’s something bad or not. I’ve had similar pain before and didn’t see anything. they said it could be pulled muscle and or very tight pelvic floor. anyway, has anyone else experienced this??
