Has your kid ever fallen from a height and hit their head hard?

Question

This happened to my toddler this morning. She fell from a height and hit her head on a hard floor. 😢 She’s seemingly fine and we’ve already spoken with her doctor but I can’t stop crying. I feel so bad and still worry about a head injury even though she’s not displaying any signs. She just cried hysterically for 5 minutes when it first happened and said her head hurt. 
Would love to hear other stories so I don’t feel like such a shit mom, and also for reassurance that kids hit their heads hard and are generally fine.

My 1 and 2 y/os haven't. Which is saying something because my 2 y/o has autism and he has so much energy. He's never still. Always climbing things. Hardly falls. Never cries when he does. My four year old, though? 
Last week we were on the back porch and my four year old was sitting on the outdoor table with his legs dangling off. And out of the corner of my eye, I saw him fall, face first, all the way to the porch. Nose splurting blood all over the place. Thankfully, it wasn't broken. He's not wild like my 2 y/o, but he is clumsy. He will be running one minute then be on his face another. 
That is the second time he busted his nose. First time, he fell face first into a rocking horse. He's gone face first into blocks and chipped a tooth. Blacked his eye once when he smacked the keys on a toy piano and it tipped and the backboard hit him in the face. Has busted his gums three times falling down while running on three different occasions. 
My 4 y/o has fallen so seriously and so often that we've actually had his inner ears checked twice to make sure that isn't causing a balancing issue. But he walks fine and runs fine. Doesnt away or anything. He's just super duper clumsy. My pediatrician just says he's got two big left feet 😭

Yes. My son fell from a tall kitchen chair and came down on his butt, thank goodness. But he hit his head on the wall on the way down. He cried hysterically for 30 minutes and I needed my husband’s help consoling him.

My 14 month old fell about 2 feet off a chair outside and hit his head on the concrete on 4th of July. He cried so hard and my heart broke!! He had a big bruise on his head for a few days but he was okay.

I fell down the back stairs when I was 2.5. Probably 12-14 stairs. No head injuries. I did fracture my wrist and my parents finally took me to the hospital two days later. But cognitively I was a-ok!

With my first son he had fallen down the stairs at like 8 months. Our laundry room was up on the top floor in the hallway and I was doing laundry, I didn't realize he was right by the stairs and by the time I noticed and went for him he already started tumbling. 
With my second son, just recently we were walking out of our front door and we have a couple steps well I was hding his opposite hand and he went to step infront of me so I moved to step off the side of the step area and as I did I lost my footing and ended up fracturing my ankle and as I went down he also went down face forward right on the concrete. He literally nose planted it. And I felt TERRIBLE because I couldn't get to him because I orginally thought I broke my ankle. So I had to yell for my husband.

With my first son, when we were moving into our own place he fell from a high porch and hit his head on cement.  We rushed him to the ER he was as fine no concussion or anything but I was so worried and being a young mom I just had to get him in to be seen.  Hope your little one is ok

My 2 year old fell down a whole set of stairs on our back deck 🥺 I honestly felt so bad, he was standing too close to the stairs & the door hit him when he closed it. He was fine though, just a bruise on his cheek
