Three years

My journal came with a reminder today. A three year old post of a day where I felt nothing but calmness, love and appreciation for my husband.

A warm summer day with spontaneous plans and a mild nausea which I expected to be due to several weeks of warm weather, bad sleep and struggling to sleep.

My SIL captured a photo of me and my husband walking together holding each other. And I look back at that picture with so much love! Because what I didn't know at the time was, that my life was about to change forever. My period was due, but I thought it was coming. It's often a day or two late, so didn't think of it. But actually I was starting to grow a little baby in my stomach. It took me another week to find out actually 😂

And here we are three years later. With a two year old, in a new and bigger house and two cars and adulthood seems so.... Real 😂
