Should I be worried ?

I’m exactly 5 weeks pregnant according to the app. I took 2 pregnancy test and they both came out positive. I’ve been having spotting. It started off light pink and very little. Now it’s more frequent and is a dark red color. This is my first pregnancy so I don’t know what is normal or bad. I have my very first appointment August 10th. Should I be worried something is wrong ?

Thank you all for your comments. I will definitely be calling my Dr. to see if i’m able to come in any time sooner. Could the bleeding be a sign of a early miscarriage ?

spotting or bleeding of any kind is not normal and yes you should worry. call your doctor and let them know you’re bleeding. the ER is pointless, an ultrasound will show nothing. just call your regular dr. hopefully everything is ok

This is more than typical pregnancy spotting. I would follow up with your ob. Unfortunately there’s nothing the emergency room can do for bleeding, so you’ll have to make an appointment with your regular doctors

Definitely do not worry until you speak to a professional... ask to be seen earlier or even go to a hospital and request an ultrasound
