Fertility after a c section??

I am really worried now that I had to have a emergency c section with my first, I’ll have a hard time getting pregnant a second time. I am really worried that having had a c section may make me infertile. Have any of you c section ladies had a hard time getting pregnant a second time around??

C sections don’t make you infertile. I’ve had 2. I had no problem getting pregnant with 2nd. Took 1 cycle. Same as my first. Pregnant right away both times

Unless the doctor told you there were complications from the csection, it will not make you infertile.  
2017 I had a myomectomy for a large fibroid (basically csection for a fibroid lol)
2018 got pregnant, unfortunately it was ectopic and I lost a tube... but wait there's more!! 
2019 pregnant with my son, he will be 2 in September. 
2021 pregnant with my 2nd son. 
Just continue on your family journey once the doctor says your cleared and safe to do so. Usually say wait at least 18 months, prefer 2 years between pregnancies when you've had a csection.

Why would you have a hard time with your second? I had an emergency c section, got the IUD for a year, removed it, and fell pregnant 5 months later. Every woman will be different, but your c section should have no affect on your fertility.

I had the same worry after my second was born by csection. When he was 10 months old we got pregnant accidentally, unfortunately at 6 weeks I had a miscarriage, part of me worries that it was because the embryo implanted on the scar or something but I think it is more likely it was a genetic issue. The next cycle we got pregnant again and I am now 14 weeks! I think it would only affect your fertility if there were complications with the csection.

I've had two c-sections, the first pregnancy happened right away. We discussed having a baby and then boom, two weeks later we were pregnant. The second time it took about 5 months to get pregnant. We never used any ovulation trackers or anything else, I was getting worried, but it all happened. I have the same thought as you now though, I wonder if everything went well and will I be able to conceive again. 💖 You could always talk to you Doctor and they can have the surgical records sent (your doctor can go over them with you), it can give you peace of mind, or let you know what went on. 
My records suggested that a natural birth the second time around was not recommended.

It took us 6 months to conceive our first, who was born via emergency c-section. It only took us 3 months to conceive our second a little over a year later. So no, it will not impact your fertility unless your doctor specifically told you there were some kind of complications.

“Emergency” csection March 2019. Breastfeeding. Pregnant again 7 months later. Vbac when my csection baby was 16.5 months. My vbac baby is now almost 1 (next week) and we just started trying for #3
