Anyone have a third at 39? With two boy toddlers?

I have a 3.5 and 1.5 year old (both boys). This isn’t really related to baby names but is in a way…I’ve been keeping a list of names I’d want to name my 3rd baby, but my husband and I never actually planned to have a 3rd! He was a “hard no” which has been promoted to just a “no”. I’m 39 so not sure I could go through another pregnancy/birth/postpartum period. I love a busy house, but also feel maybe I back away slowly with my two happy and healthy boys and intact marriage.
Anyone with experience having a third baby and being doubtful? Or having a dream of adding a girl to your family after having two boys?
Thank for any input - can’t get this off my mind!
For reference - I love the name Olivia Colleen for my “non existing” girl. Chances are it would be a boy…haha!!

I have two boys 9 and 2 and I thought I was done. Honestly my husband didn’t want any more children and the second was a compromise. I’m a little younger 32 but my husband is 40. After my second I just couldn’t stop thinking about having another and I expressed my concerns to my husband about him having a vasectomy and then he kept putting it off. One day I told him that he couldn’t just leave that door open, either leap with me or close the door. He said “ you leap I leap” and we were pregnant with little girl next cycle she is due in October. Everything feels right so far and has gone wonderfully I can’t speak for after baby but that’s my story.

My partner has two other boys ages 6 and 9. However, my pregnancy was a surprise he still wanted another. So at 39 I’m providing him with a third boy. He is 38 and many of our families joke around that we’ll go again for a fourth in an attempt for a girl. I could probably do it in a year or so as long as my job at that time isn’t too laborious. He said I have until he is 40 then he’s locking things up. Lol

I had just two boys 20 yr old and 5yr old at the time I got pregnant with my girl. She's two now and she is well worth it. It's definitely different having that girl after two boys. Having a much older son I know first hand how fast the years go. It's a lot with three small kids, but they grow so quickly.

I am close to the same boat. I am pregnant with my third boy now at 35. I want another but husband doesn’t really, or at least doesn’t want to talk about it now, but I am feeling pressed for time because of my age and I would also want to wait a couple years for this boy to grow before getting pregnant again.
