Are Milksnob covers okay to use in the summer heat?

Has anyone used the Milksnob covers as a car seat canopy to block out the sun in the summer? Wasn't sure if it's too heavy to use as that and if it keeps to much heat in the car seat? Thank you in advance!

@mommy.labornurse on Instagram has a great highlight on this! Basically any cover, even a muslin/thin cover can up the temp by 20 degrees or more. 
Uncovered is best! Definitely covered my first baby but I had her in winter… so now I probably won’t use a cover and look into car window covers/tints. Most babies are fine with a little sun though especially with the car seat canopy. Hope this helps!

None of them are safe. It raises the temp by a lot by trapping heat. Save it for fall or winter

If I’m outside we don’t use it because it definitely gets too hot. But I keep it in the car and if we are going somewhere air conditioned where I know there will be more people I’ll put it on just to prevent people from getting to close to him.
