Engaged but not

Hello everyone!

I thought I would come here to ask you of your opinions. Not sure if I should have, but all evening I’ve been thinking about this.. On my birthday a couple months back my boyfriend gave me a ring but he did not propose… Now calls us engaged but has never asked me to marry him..

Today his friend was over & he was talking of how he was planning to propose to his girlfriend and this topic made me very sensitive.

Me & my boyfriend have spoke about marriage before & his answer has always been a excuse or that after we have our 2nd child we would get married which is stupid?

Now, I’m sitting here wondering if I’m just wasting my time in this relationship.
