I know I need to tell him, but how? *HPV

So over a year ago, in March, I was diagnosed with mild HPV.

Since then I have been taking vitamins to help get it out of my system. I am scheduling an appointment soon to get tested.

In September I met my now boyfriend. I had planned on waiting to have sex with him and telling him. However, after our second date things escalated and we did it. We used protection, however he did go down On me.

It’s now 9 months later and I have no idea how to tell him.

I know I’m a terrible person so please don’t tell me I am.

I had fully planned to tell him before we had sex before I just didn’t know how, he was the first partner I had after my diagnosis.

Has this happened to anyone else? Please help.

My mom and dad also have HPV, she only found out over 20 years ago when she was trying for my brother, they had been married for 10 years.

I know some people will tell me I should’ve used protection, I did with most partners. However, I was in an abusive relationship, and he forced me to have sex with multiple men without protection, including him.
