Plans for the future (advice)

I’m trying to make plans for the future. I’m going to be a senior this year and I haven’t planned out much. I’ve dated my boyfriend for a year and a half, I have a best friend who wants to move to Hawaii for college, and a job I’ve been at for a month now. I started thinking about going with my best friend but I have no idea how to do it. I was thinking about doing online school in Hawaii so I don’t have to worry about the EXTREMELY HIGH COST of schooling there (especially from out of state). My boyfriend is willing to come with me if he’s able to do a year of trade school where we currently live. As for myself, I have no idea how to prepare to live out of state in a year. What do I need to plan? Anyone living in Hawaii got any tips? Cheep living? Anything?

Psa I’m aware things can change but I have a goal in mind and I want it, I just don’t know where to start even with time on my side.
