Anyone here from the central Illinois area? My daughter is 8 and has adhd. We’ve been going through medications and I’m getting frustrated at this point. We’ve had one medication that worked for her but it caused her not to be able to sleep, eat, or poop. Anything else we’ve tried hasn’t worked. I’m wondering if maybe someone can give me a recommendation to a dr that specializes or has a lot of knowledge working with adhd in children. Or if your child has adhd what has worked for you all? She needs something to work for her. She can’t sit still. She can’t gain a lot of weight because she’s constantly moving. She can’t focus in school. She has trouble with sleep anyways. We’re around an hour from Peoria.
