i’m just coming to say that their are people are there that are asexual and they don’t require sex. so it really isn’t a “sexless” marriage at that point. it’s just being married (depending on the person there’s a BIG spectrum in the asexual community)

Absolutely. Not everyone needs or wants sex. If all people involved are on the same page and okay, it is perfectly fine and will work. The problems arise when it is not mutual.

Me personally, I don’t see the point, that’s just a roommate. But to each their own, I think sex is a very important part of our relationship, and basically you’re just friends living together or basically a roommate, personally I would not be happy, but to each their own like I said if this is OK with both parties and one person isn’t feeling neglected or whatever it may be, then by all means knock yourself out. It’s one thing if there’s a reason it’s not happening like your partner is paralyzed from the waist down, or something like that, but if he just doesn’t want to or is denying you on purpose to Have control over the situation or anything toxic like that, that’s a different story. But if this is both equally your decision, then by all means that’s up to you. I wouldn’t be happy, but that’s me.￼

If your marriage is only about sex, you're not married you're just f*ck buddies with a legal attachment. 
A marriage should have a much stronger foundation than just sex. And plenty of couples cannot or will not have sex for a number of reasons (grey/demi/asexual, trauma, medical, etc.) and they find ways to make it work because of that stronger foundation.

Everyone is different but there is absolutely no way I would ever want a marriage like that. My husband and I are both very sexually active, so we don’t go more than 2 days without sex. But if it’s a medical thing, I’m sure you can still make it work. There’s other ways to have that emotional connection.

For my personally i could never!  But my husbands parents sleep in different rooms and never have sex. My father in law once told me when they were pregnant with my husband they went to the doctors and the doctor said so you probably concieved these three days and my fil said we did on this night the doctor said well no way to know his response was when u only have sex once to have a baby u know! So im assuming this has always been their situation and when they were trying it was a once a month thing. Personally i dont get it! Why geg married if you dont want the intimacy
