Almost Debt Free!

We didn't tell anyone about all this so I just wanted to share somewhere! So for awhile my husband and I struggled financially and accrued some debt with credit cards. We weren't being irresponsible and knew it would have to be paid off but we were hit hard with so many (expensive) problems in a short amount of time. We ended up having to do debt consolidating to pay it off. By the time we finally were able to start paying it all off through them we were down to about 18,000. Last year my husband got a better paying job and we've been saving to buy our first house. Well we were down to a little over 6,000 left and we decided to pay it all off! 🤩 So it might take us awhile longer to get a house but we're almost debt free as all we have left is student loans. This will help significantly for our debt to income ratio and mean we can afford a slightly more expensive house too (we're just looking for a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath place but the options really suck). 🤞🏼 Hoping to get a house soon even though it's taken awhile to save up for this whole thing and just spent about half of what we've been working hard to save 😳
