IUD or shot?

I am conflicted, indecisive & scared! 😐 
Not sure what brand shot my doc offers, but the IUD would be liletta

I would opt for an IUD, I had a Mirena and loved it! The depo shot, I've honestly never known anyone that liked it.. I only took 3-4 injections of the depo and it was awful, it took me over a year for my cycle to regulate, I will never suggest that shot to anyone.

IUD over the shot any day. I had liletta for 3 years, when I was 19-22 - no periods, a little discomfort the day it was inserted but the next day I was fine, I had mine inserted while on my period & continued to lightly bleed for about a month, the doctor said that was normal and could happen. I switched to the depo shot after getting my IUD out, and it was hell - I only got 3-4 injections and gained about 30 pounds, I feel like I was more moody than normal. This is just my experience with them and your body could have an entirely different reaction.
