First relationship & it’s long distance!

Hi guys, I met my boyfriend about a year ago and we started dating this past April. We’re from the same city but he goes to school out of state. I have managed it fine up until now. I feel like maybe I’m bothering him, putting more pressure on him, etc. I was also taking BC (first time) and I felt like it heightened those emotions. I have reached out and asked him if things are ok, all to which he answers yes. I guess I’m just looking for reassurance from other women who have been in similar situations. And sometimes it just gets too mee a little too much and idk what to do
