Advice please!

So I’m getting ready to try and buy my first home. My boyfriend and I live together. While his name can’t be on the loan bc he has no credit he does know that his name can go on the deed of the house. So the loan would fully be in my name, and he wants both of our names on the deed. I don’t want to do that, because again we aren’t married, and if something were to ever happen between us I would not want him to be able to take my house. But I don’t know how to tell him I don’t want to put his name on the deed. What do I do?
