Baby’s first sleepover

My daughter is 9 and a half months old and tomorrow is her first sleepover at my moms house.

My husband and I haven’t had a day/night just the 2 of us since before she was born!

We’re planning on going golfing, out for dinner, an evening bike ride and a bonfire!

I’m really excited to have some alone time with my husband, but also really nervous to be away from my daughter.

How do I politely set some rules for my mom and also let go of control and trust that she’s going to be okay? My mom raised 4 kids, has taken care of 3 grandkids and has worked with children her whole adult life.

How nervous was everyone else when their baby had their first sleepover with family?
