Not sure what to do now

So my boyfriend and I have talked about moving in together numerous times just never had a back up plan for if it didn’t work out (he has a roommate). Turns out his roommate wasn’t okay with me moving in and my boyfriend just told me that they were renewing the lease. I’m just really sad because I was so excited and ready to take the next step with him. It’s also hard because he constantly wants me there at the house even when he isn’t home. I did ask him if his roommate was okay with this, he said he hadn’t said anything but then again I know he’d get really upset if his roommate started having a problem with me. I tbh don’t like being there when it’s just me and his roommate, it makes me feel uncomfortable especially since that’s his only time he gets to be alone (that’s why he didn’t want me moving in). I can’t afford a place on my own so that’s not an option and neither is him coming over and spending the night since I still live with my parents. I really want to talk to him about this but I don’t want to push him into anything as this should’ve been planned out already and would be inconsiderate of his roommate. I just wish there was something that could be done 😔
