Should we give him his gift early?

Another foster son update. So he was doing about better and talking more and eating small snacks in front of us. One of my husbands friends was selling an Amazon fire 7 and he bought it. It had the kindle app and my husband was gonna download libby. It's a library app that allows you to check out books to your kindle and it just goes back after the due date. Since our foster son loves to read and he's turning 16 in October my husband thought this would be perfect.

So our foster son has also has issues wetting his bed even though we haven't talked about it. When he gets up to shower we just change his sheets and say nothing. We also took advice and started putting diapers in his closet in case he wanted to use them. Last week when he was in the shower i noticed his bed was dry. I figured he just didn't wet but when it was my turn to take a shower I saw a wet diaper in the trash so it seems he decided to use them after all. I still check his bed just incase because I know he won't tell us if it's wet.

My sister came over today with my niece and her dog. She's going through a divorce and needed someone to talk to. Foster son was in the living room with her daughter watching Stranger Things and then her dog came downstairs. He got into our trash and had a diaper in his mouth. The type I got him I think are called goodnights and I got him the ones for boys so it didn't take rocket science to figure out who it belonged to. That and our foster son went to his room visibly upset. My sister apologized and my niece(She's 18 btw) said she hopes she he knows it's no big deal since she wet the bed until 12. He's been locked in his room and my husband is thinking we should give him his gift now to make him feel better. Do you guys think that's a good idea?
