To young adults on here (or to parents of young adults) ..

This is specifically for those still living at home. It’s summer where I’m at so I’m outside a lot more often. My mother asked me today (after giving me the side eye all day) why I’ve been outside so much and what I’m doing outside. I told her I just hang out with my friends. She said that that’s weird and she doesn’t believe it. She thinks I leave the house to have sex but that’s another story, she also demands to know whether or not my friends are actually my boyfriends? She keeps insisting on talking because she thinks I’m hiding something but there’s nothing to talk about. I go outside during the day to hang out and I’m back at a reasonable time. I don’t think this is normal behavior towards a young adult. I know I’m still living at home and I respect her rules but I’m 21. I think I’m allowed to be outside during the day with my friends without her finding it suspicious. I also forgot something that she wanted from the store and she asked “how come you forgot it?” Like what? People forget things. Then she told me not to get violent…? She thinks answering her questions is disrespect. She said she doesn’t care if I’m an adult. Now we’re having a very annoying and unnecessary conversation about crack and heroin, neither of which I ever intend to use😒
