Travel stroller or no?

Question

Is it a waste of time and money to get a travel system? 
Should I just get an infant car seat now and worry ab a stroller down the road ? 😭
If you think a travel system is a good investment which one do you recommend?

Babies shouldn’t be in a car seat for more than 1.5 hours when newborn so you need to get something that has a carrycot or lay flat  to reduce the risk of sids.

I have the uppababy vista stroller and Mesa car seat from my son (he’s 18 months old now). I LOVE that stroller. We used the bassinet feature so much with him and best part is that it can convert to a double stroller with some attachments. Pricey but worth it.

We actually decided not to get a travel system and we are just going to get a good infant car seat for now. Baby will be born in October so we won’t be going for many walks since it will be cold, and we have a baby carrier or two so if we want to go anywhere we will just put him in there until he’s older. That’s the plan for now at least 😅

Is great for everyone to have one very convenient, especially c-section mommas. This will be my third baby all c- sections 🙁 so i prefer the set, so I don’t have to carry anything.

I never really liked my travel system. I did not buy anything top of the line so maybe that’s why. I never used the stroller on its own. It was just too wide and bulky. I bought a great jogging stroller which I loved and then I ended up getting a frame stroller (off FB for free!)  that was compatible with my infant carrier and I use that thing all the time. I also have an umbrella type stroller which comes in handy once the baby is older.

Yes totally worth the investment at 4 months babies don’t want to lay down in the car seat regardless if born in the winter
