Tubal questions

Mommas who have had a vaginal delivery in the past and got a tubal done how did the procedure go and how was recovery? My ob wasn’t very informative when I asked all she told me was it’s done through my belly button and I’d have a stitch or two. She was unable to tell me when it’ll happen (right after delivery/ or the next day). Did you have the procedure done right after delivery or a day or 2 later? Was recovery any different than recovering from delivery?
