Diffrent ideas to play with a 2month old baby?

Hi all,
I have read that some mommas & daddies play with their LO between feedings? 
What sugestiona to a FTM would you do for playtime? We have a tummy time mat that has lights and toys but he’s not to interested. He does like when I put on baby Einstein songs/ videos from YouTube to watch but I feel like that’s not really playing with your baby? 
Any idea and suggestions would be helpful :)

One thing to remember for the next few years is that their play is their work. They have an awful lot of work to do figuring out so many basic things like how their body moves, where their hands and feet are, how to move their wrist, how far their legs go when they kick, how fast or slow they need to move their arms for various things, how to turn their head, how to roll over. So the “play” you do in the first few months is all geared toward that. Any toys you play with mainly help them develop physical strength and control. Like tummy time or moving objects around close to their face for them to follow and grab at.
Other than that, the another big way to play is talking and signing! Language acquisition starts now! It’ll feel a little odd at first and then it’ll feel totally normal.
Get close to their face and chat away, pause to let them chat back. Makes lots of sounds, go slowly through the alphabet repeating the sounds of each letter several times and saying different common words that start with that letter.
Constantly narrate and describe everything you’re doing and where they are and what just happened or what’s happening next and when. 
Sing to them too, make up simple songs for the daily routine things you do like bathtime and changing diapers and such. Like when I put his clothes on I start with “let’s get dressed! Do you want to get dressed? Over your head then…peekaboo” every time, then sing “first one arm and then the other, we did one arm let’s do the other” and the same for legs, then I tell him what a good job he did (because his brother fussed and fought but this baby doesn’t care haha)

Our son loves the smell of food since birth, not sure how he knows it’s food but he will be in a dead sleep and wake up at any smell of food and want some 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ obviously we don’t give it to him but it’s just funny that he knew what it was on his own. He have a mamaroo and he loves to kick his feet and move his hands in that as well. My fiancé sings and plays the guitar but it usually puts LO to 😴.  He hates tummy time and has not gotten used to it much so we got a fisher price sit me up that he’s learning to use so I hope that helps as I read somewhere it helps him learn to hold his head up and also sit up as well? He also loves to watch any kind of tv if we sit him in our lap and hold him so I guess I have been “ playing” with him more than I thought lol thanks so much!

Walk around the house showing things to your babe and talking about them. High contrast artwork, black picture frames on a white wall, book shelves, mirrors, etc. 
Introducing different textures to their hands (hard toy vs. soft toy). 
Lay down some crumpled tissue paper on the tummy time mat and lay them down on top of it on their back. The crinkly noise will get then responding by wiggling, moving arms & legs, etc. Don’t make the mistake I made and use colored tissue paper. We had a drool / color running incident. Using white tissue paper will spare you that clean up 😂
Play music and clap baby’s hands and feet to the rhythm. You can do this with any music, doesn’t have to be silly kids stuff honestly. But I found a kids artist we really like and are all enjoying equally 😂 look up Caspar Babypants on Spotify. It’s super fun for rhythm exercises. 
Basically anything that stimulates their five senses. I haven’t noticed my 8 week old responding to any smells (besides my boobs/breastmilk 😂) yet but we keep introducing things. I’ll wave cut up fruit in front of his nose when I’m eating, tried a tea bag, etc etc.
