Sexual compatibility

I’m worried my boyfriend and I might not be sexually compatible. He’s very quiet in bed and isn’t as overtly passionate or adventurous as me, so I often feel like I don’t know what he wants or how to excite him. He recently told me he’s never been able to cum from hand jobs or blowjobs, and I love giving those. We’ve been dating for about 3-4 months. He’s a really sweet and caring guy and a great cuddler, but I’m getting worried we might not be compatible.

Thoughts? Is this normal? Has anyone worked through a similar situation?
