Is it okay to use organic coconut oil?

Question

I have a 6 week old baby and her face and like an inch into her hair (scalp) is super dry and has a thick layer of dead skin sitting on it. Is it okay to moisturise her hair and skin with it? She hasn't had a reaction to it and seems to be fine when I use it on her

It’s honestly one of the gentlest things you can use. A great choice!

Its very gentle but not always the best moisturizer for some people believe it or not.  If it doesnt help aquaphor baby has worked wonders for my little one.

Coconut oil can make things worse in some situations, so I’d be cautious. I had really good luck with Tubby Todd all over ointment when my daughter had dry skin on her face, body, and head. Like literally cleared everything in 24 hours. If the coconut oil is actually helping then it’s fine to continue using it.
