Baby now sleeps with us and I hate it!

My 13 month old now suddenly is sleeping with us.. kinda my fault, for the past couple of months when he wakes up at night for his feed, I lay on my side and he drinks my milk and then falls asleep. We both fall asleep, when I wake up I put him back in his cot.

Well lately I’ve just been so sleepy so he will be in bed with us for up for 4 hours before I realise and put him in his cot. For the past week, he’s waking up at least 4 times and isn’t staying asleep in his cot now. I really don’t want him to sleep with us, I’m literally cramped in the corner when he does and I just don’t find it a good sleeping habit for my child. I will add that he is safe with us, I just don’t want him in bed with us.

Does anyone have any tips on how to break this habit and get him used to his own cot again? Any advice would be appreciated.
