Is it safe to lose weight whilst pregnant?

I've got a lot bigger from eating rubbish foods and I need to sort it out asap 😩 is it usually safe? (23weeks)

Start making healthier choices. I was told by my doctor that it is totally safe to lose weight during pregnancy. As long as your getting nutrients then it’s ok for your body to dispose of the fat

If you change your diet and you lose weight because of it, that’s fine. But before you start any exercises or workouts you weren’t doing before, you should talk to doc. I know that pregnancy yoga is safe and so is walking!

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and have lost over 10 lbs this pregnancy. Not gained anything. BUT I'm a fatty haha. I have just eaten healthy and am seeing a prenatal personal trainer (she SPECIALIZES in pregnancy). My midwives want me to start gaining a few lbs but also said it's fine if I don't due to my size as it is. But you HAVE to clear this with your OB/Doc/midwife FIRST
