At what age did your child transition out of a crib?

Wondering when I want to tackle this. My son hasn’t started climbing out so I’m not in a rush!

I did it during year 2. My daughter never tried to climb out but she hated be locked up lol. She never liked straps!!! Hates the car seat, the straps on the high chair, anything that confined her so not being able ti get in or out of the crib she would fight it hard! So we tried a toddler bed and she loved it!  Never had an issue of her escaping to go play in the night or making going to sleep hard nothing. She loved it so much

If my daughter continues to stay in hers, we'll transition at some point after she has turned 3 years old.
It's so wonderful to know she can't get out on her own and I'll really miss the crib a lot 😂
