3 yr old with diarrhea

Ok so my 3 yr old has had diarrhea since last Wednesday and today is Monday. It started out reallllly bad first 2 days he has pooping it seemed like every 15 mins he had 20 accidents because it was just water for the last few days it has slowed wayyyy down to about 3-5 watery poos a day. He's been drinking water, some Gatorade and pedialyte* he has not had much of an appetite at all (not that he did before) the first 2 days I gave him a dose of kids pepto and he threw it up both times. He does complain of his stomach hurting sometimes but other than that he acts like nothing is wrong. Should I call the doc or ride this out? I know diarrhea can be dangerous because of dehydration but I'm not concerned about that he drinks enough. Any advice?
