Made a mistake telling my mother my relationship problems

My boyfriend and I had recently had a brake and during the break up he treated me so bad, embarrassed me doing it infront of his friends. My mother saw me crying and asked why I don't bring him around anymore. I ended up venting to her. I was at my lowest point.

He and I are trying to work things out but mother does not want to see him anymore. She thinks he's a terrible person who boosts his ego treating me terribly infront of people. I don't know what to do. She doesn't want me bringing him around my family anymore. I don't know what to do. Yes I told her about a personal problem and it is the first time ever in my life I do that. I didn't think she was going to end up using it against me otherwise I wouldn't have told her
