Hey guys so I recently found out I have an early stage of lupus disease and I’m also anemic. I’m 22 btw

It all started with joint pain, from not being able to open water bottles, getting up and sitting down, not be able to sleep, to swollen hands.

After lots of blood work they told me I have lupus.

So they gave me prednisone (steroid) for a bit and plaquenil.

My joint pain is gone (at least for now!) but I’m starting to develop the rash and itching. I’m starting to have an itchy scalp, itchy face, breasts rash (even though they’re not in the sun lol), and maybe vagina too. And my nose feels off like it’s sore and itchy and idk. These are new symptoms and my face has a small red butterfly rash. I also have diarrhea but I don’t know if it’s the iron pill or the coffee lol

I’m stating to feel a bit anxious, worried, on and off depressed. I also just feel off, embarrassed, sick, and confused.

I just need advice from anyone with lupus. This is all new to me. I go to school out of state so I’m not with my doctor around the corner or family and no one here knows other than my bf but he doesn’t understand and neither do I.
