Meals for 1 year old? (13 months)

What are some things you fix for your 1 year olds to eat, or older? She will literally eat anything I eat, BUT she refuses to let me feed her with a spoon. So preferably things she can feed herself, also how & when did you introduce silverware? She throws literally everything 🤣

My daughter will be 1 on the 18th. She’s not super interested in silverware either. I always giver her a spoon but don’t worry to much if she uses it or not. We do noodles, ravioli, scrambled eggs, rice, cheese, watermelon, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, toast, grilled cheese, veggie tots. She’s a pretty decent eater not super picky except like yogurt and avocado.

You can start silverware now. Even if she throws it, just pick it up and show her how to use it. She’ll eventually get the hang of it. I fed my kids at 1 pretty much anything I ate, and depending on how many teeth they had. I just made sure theirs didn’t have seasoning on it, and that it was cut up. Start with veggies.

My 11 month old just eats everything by hand. I make him garlic Parmesan green beans, meatballs, he loves corn on the cob, any pasta, chicken. He eats everything and I just put it on his tray. He isn’t a fan of me feeding him with utensils either. Only thing I can give him on a spoon is ice cream 😂
