Cholestasis—- EXTREME ITCHING

I had extreme itching for 2 hours during the middle of the night. Still itchy today but not as bad. Now laying in bed and I can feel all the itching starting.

I’m just sick of this itching. I want to scratch my skin off!!!

I messaged my doctor at 1:30 am yesterday and got a call at 8 am to come in for blood work and a NST. They want to check for cholestasis (a liver issue that can develop toward the end of pregnancy and affect baby).

Some blood work came back and it didn’t look great from what I understood but I’m also not a doctor. They don’t seem worried but I have a follow up NST after the holiday. Torn cuz I’m sick of itching all the time but also know baby needs a little more time to grow. Ugh!
