Stitch from biopsy
I had a skin biopsy for a rash on my leg done the other day where they took a small piece of skin and had to use a stitch to close it up. They said the stitch comes out in 10 days but to keep Vaseline on it and a bandaid on it until then.
I am about 4 or 5 days away from removal and while I don’t think it’s infected, it’s very “tight” and kinda stings. Is this normal for healing? Maybe the skin is getting tight and that’s why it hurts?
I’ve never had a non dissolving stitch before Thanks!
