Baby sleep

Im struggling to put my 9 week baby to sleep in her cot. We were previously using a wedge and pod as she had reflux but took it out as she’s rolling a bit now. But now she will cry as soon as we lay her down even if she was fast asleep she now wakes up. I keep reading you should put them down ‘drowsy but awake’ but how does this work if they keep crying? Should you leave them to cry for the first few times? We have resorted to bed sharing as no other option right now. But I cant sleep well as Im so afraid i woll roll on her! We also can’t let her cry more than a minute as we have thin walls and dont want to disturb the neighbours. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
