why do people post stuff then delete it??

I know some stuff is removed from the admins for braking the rules and that's out of our control but I'm talking about the regular post that dont violate any rules. why post if you're just going to delete it? makes me not even want to waste time commenting any advice

Usually because someone said something they didn't want to hear. Didn't like the responses they were getting. Or maybe they got their answer and deleted the post. But mostly I've noticed because the comments aren't going the way they wanted to. They weren't being validated the way they expected to be so they delete it out of embarrassment or something.

I’ll be honest here and share reasons I’ve deleted posts! I know some stuff I’ve deleted myself because I had gotten the advice I really wanted/found beneficial and there was no need to keep it up, the problem I had posted about would get solved, after posting I’d feel embarrassed sometimes(not sure why), I would get scared people I know are on this app, someone had commented something that was hurtful or not helpful to me, and/or people would get into arguments and I don’t like it so I’d remove it that way it ends the argument.

Sometimes you make a post and the. You feel better or you’ve had time to calm down and you decide you overreacted or something and you take it down. It happens and it’s okay. ❤️ 
Don’t take it personally. Your advice is probably still read before the post is deleted. Your advice might have been helpful and could be the reason they deleted the post.

I delete my post when I get the answers I’m looking for or just answers period. I only post to ask questions. Don’t stop commenting on my posts I need answers 😂😂

I know I’ve deleted things when I posted a false positive test then started my period. It was very painful to continue getting notifications and seeing it in my profile.

Not everyone can handle feeling judged or put down. Constructive criticism is one thing but not every comment is nice and constructive. So for their own mental health, they delete. It’s nbd

I've taken down posts I've made once I've gotten helpful advice or answers which solved the presented issue. I've asked about hair care for my child's curly hair and for advice on what to do about an adult refusing medical care. The latter was a bit harder to digest because I was told that there wasn't anything I could do. It's hard for me to let go of control or the illusion of it so, it was hard to hear but it was very helpful and in the end I've accepted it and fully understand that it should have been my approach from the beginning. The truth hurts sometimes and not everyone can handle it
