What should I do?
I’ve been working since I found out I was pregnant. I work in special education that involves adult development. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and they just started to become rude to me over the past few weeks. It all started with the fmla paperwork. They handed it to me and me being a first time parent I’m unsure of what to do they told me to just bring it to my doctor when it falls around the time. They then switched up my whole classroom they gave me new students in which I don’t have an issue with that but the new people they have put in my room are very violent they are known to hurt their instructors, throwing their wheelchairs, etc. I asked my boss why she would do that and she told me that I was just going to have to deal with it. Physically my body is giving up. My legs are swollen and you can leave indention in them for hours on end. I can’t stand for more than two minutes without having contractions and feeling like his hand came out of my cervix. I use the restroom a lot because I drink a lot of water they have an issue with that. My coworker complained about it to my boss and now I get embarrassed. My car wouldn’t start this morning so I called my boss to let her know that I wouldn’t be coming in not only because of my car but because of my swollen legs. She told me that I needed to find a ride because we were short. 🙄we weren’t even short. Not to mention my pregnancy has been very unpredictable she keeps telling me to cancel my doctors appointments. Even the important ones. I’m mentally and physically drained.
