So my husband and I had sex a few weeks ago and I started to spot a little after. Now he’s too scared to have sex anymore. I would like to have it again a few more times before our son is born. I know people have it all throughout pregnancy and they’re fine. I just miss the connection of it but he isn’t budging at all with his decision to not have it until after our baby is born 🙄

I had the same issue until I made him come to an appointment with me and had the ob explain how sex during pregnancy is perfectly safe.

My bf and I haven’t had sex SINCE MAY because he’s literally so terrified he’s gonna hurt me or our daughter….. I respect his feelings and I’m sure it has a lot to do with the fact that I’m high risk. There was a moment in time where all I wanted was sex and that was all I could think about but I do respect his feelings so I never pushed him or brought it up. He always says he can’t wait till she’s here and I’m healed so I’m sure he’s been wanting it too, it’s just that he’s scared 😆😆😆😆

Definitely talk to him and try to reassure him you’re fine and it’s normal. Maybe even recommend to him oral and not going inside just for him to feel safe. Sex is super important to me too so I understand where you’re coming from

It probably just irritated your cervix, they are extra sensitive during pregnancy. But also it can happen when you aren't pregnant too
