So for two days, Saturday and Sunday, one of my nipples was bleeding pretty bad to the point where I could pull clots off the tip. I think it was caused by a crack or blister and I continued nursing through it. I have not had any bleeding since early Monday morning.

Monday my almost 4 month old pooped really dark brown almost black poop. I called the on-call nurses line since it was a holiday and they told me it was likely due to my nipple bleeding and to just follow up with the pediatrician if it happened again. Well yesterday he didn't poop at all. And then today he had two more black poops. I called my pediatricians office and they said they can't get me in today and possibly not even tomorrow and the nurses weren't available to speak with either.

He's been super fussy and gassy the past couple days as well. At first I thought it was due to the nipple bleeding but now I'm getting concerned. Anyone else have this happen? Should I take him to urgent care?
