Does he have a right to be this mad?

So my boyfriend works outside and needs drinks a lot. We ran out of water and I completely forgot to mention it to him and he legit flipped out on me and told me I have to fix this mistake and I have to get water at 9pm and I asked him “Did you not pay attention to the water either when you go to open the fridge because I know you have checked the fridge at least once” and he says that doesn’t matter you knew we didn’t have any and you refused to tell me so now you have to fix your mistake. Basically acting like I cheated on him. This is literally right when I get off work we haven’t even seen each other and this is how he acts. I know it sucks I forgot about the water but to flip out on me as soon as I get off work. I told him Id rather sleep in my car than go inside and deal with this. And he says “go ahead I don’t want to deal with you throwing a fit” I didn’t even have a problem in the first place he started it by calling me and texting me all pissed off that we don’t have water.
