Breast Aversion… HELP!

Emily

My LO developed a breast feeding aversion around 6 weeks old and the lactation consultant said it was due to overactive letdown, but that I have multiple overactive letdowns. She told me that I basically have to pump and bottle feed if I want to do breast milk, which I do. But now, baby is about 4 months, and seems to be getting an aversion to bottle feeding too (we thought we had fixed it and she got back to normal… temporarily) and she takes in 5-8 oz less during the day than she used to drink. She breastfeeds during the night because her aversion doesn’t exist during sleep and I think she can technically handle the letdowns in sleep too… but I can’t only feed her when she’s asleep and it would be so helpful if she could happily take a bottle again. Any suggestions? Or anyone else have experience with feeding aversion?
