Failed my nst but feeling a lot of fetal movement

Sarah

My anxiety has been high lately because baby’s movements have shifted to be way more subtle in the last week (38w6d today) and I “failed” my nst this morning - pretty sure because baby was asleep and after being given juice and a good belly shaking she was a bit more reactive but not enough to pass the nst (heart rate elevated enough but did not stay elevated long enough, no deceleration and moderate variability). They did a BPP which was totally fine and she passed quickly (8/8) and now I am feeling baby move a ton at night. Still pretty subtle but definite movement. This seems to be her regular pattern with less movement early in the day and a lot more at night. Has anyone else experienced a non reactive stress test but has regular fetal movement later? I know the test really just measures the timeframe caught during the testing period but the nonreactive result has really thrown me for a loop. I’m hoping the timing was just off since everything else seems okay. Please share any advice or personal experience!
