Opted for a c section... FTM 🥺
So I went to one of my last doctors appointment on Monday and we spoke about birth plan. I am having twins and one of them is in position but the other baby is allll the way up to literally my boobs 🙄🙄. She hasn't move from there since 20 weeks (I'm 34 now), she explained to me all the risks of having a vaginal delivery which is hard already for having twins but I also had a laparoscopic myomectomy in 2019 which means I have a scar in my uterus which makes the vaginal even HARDER!
She explained to me that after my baby boy is out they will have to put her in position and that there is a risk that her head might get stuck so they will have to use one of those things that they use to take them out and if that doesn't work than I would have to go for an emergency c section. She also explained that the baby can go into distress or that my scar can abrupt and I can literally bleed without control ☹️
I really wanted a vaginal delivery but it sounds soooo terrifying that I told her that I want a c section. I don't want to even think about pushing since it will bring so many risks for my babygirl and myself. I am EXTREMELY scared because my sister went through a traumatic c section years ago and it terrifies me just the thought of it.
Can y'all share some positive stories about c sections? I know the recovery is longer and that is more painful but how was the outcome of y'all c sections if yall have one before???
