General Anesthesia

Supposed to be getting a re-exposure done tomorrow. I let my doctor know about it and that I would be getting general anesthesia for the procedure. When I asked her if it was okay she said it was. When I look online it says it is too but I came to nurture to hear real-life stories from other women and didnt see anything about it. Will it be okay? Does anybody have any experiences or advice to give? I will be 9wks on surgery day.
