So my doctor claims that the test I am taking are false positives, I have taken over 10 they are all positive which is weird.. She took my urine sample and said it came negative and did an ultrasound which she said she didn’t see anything.. my period is supposed to come on the 27th.. why would this be happening?

Ultrasound wouldn't show anything because you're so early. I would ask them for an HCG blood test and do that.

They did an ultrasound before a missed period?? Even my IVF clinic, who I paid to get me pregnant, won't ultrasound before 6 weeks because they can't see anything. Girl, you need a new Dr, because this person is giving you some strange care. You're like 3 weeks and change pregnant, a urine test is all that will catch anything right now, even a blood test they prefer 14 days post ovulation, so you don't get a false negative, as the HCG needs a chance to rise.

If your period isn’t due for two more days there’s no way you’d see anything on an ultrasound. It’d be impossible. You’re early as heck but definitely pregnant. I’d wait a few days after your due for your period and go back for another urine or blood work but not an ultrasound 🙄

When I tested with clear blu, I got “pregnant 1-2”. I tested with the strip, it was negative. Went to the hospital, got tested and it was negative. Waited for a week and tested with strip, it was positive. Went back to the hospital and their test showed positive. I am currently 9weeks pregnant. Say my healthy baby and heart beat at 7 and a half weeks. My point is, wait a bit. Clear blu was more sensitive than the strip I was using and whatever the hospital was using for me. So it it a few more days or a week or 2.

When did they take a urine sample? I went to a doctor for one of my pregnancies and gave them a sample at about 8pm at night and it came back negative but my tests came up very obviously positive. I was told they were false positIves (yes, multiple) and I went to an OB and got a blood test and I absolutely was pregnant.

If your period is due to come Sept 27th then it's too early, most women dont see their dr for bloodwork until theyre 6 weeks or so.

Hmm you could be using a more sensitive urine test than they are. First response is usually 6miu while the office usually uses the type with 25miu. Ultrasound would be way too early to see anything. I would personally request a blood hcg which would be pretty definitive and go from there. If it’s positive, definitely get a new dr!
