Spotting or bleeding

so i was really skeptical on posting to ask but i’m becoming really nervous & my next appointment isn’t for the next 2 almost 3 weeks ….. i’m a second time mom but this pregnancy is different from my first . i was told spotting is normal & i just haven’t found comfort in believing it . on & off i keep bleeding & i am still in the beginning of my pregnancy . sometimes it’s lighter than others but it’s not a really dark red color & it’s not consistent but i’m still worried . i don’t really have much family or female friends to give me answers when it comes to any of this so i’m hoping someone could help shine some light on this situation because it’s really scary for me .
