Trying to have baby #2 but periods are irregular

So I went to the dr about my periods being irregular my dr said it’s ok because I normally stay on my period 4 or 5 days then the last two cycles I came on 1 day early and 3 days early But my dr said they not to bad off to be concerning and all my blood work came back normal .. she said I just have to have sex on day 10 then thru out my fertile window but I wanna know anyone that experienced irregular how did you track it and get pregnant.??? I’m hoping it worked for me this cycle I still have 1 more day till my period supposed to come on .
