He’s my best friend 🥺 good men still exist

I’ve been best friends with this man for 5 years and i can’t see my life without him. If we ever end up dating I would be completely over the moon. (We both have stuff to work on and are working on it) if we don’t date that’s totally fine but I want him in my life forever. Anyways, I got really upset with him about something and we decided to not be friends anymore. We didn’t talk for three months then he reached out to me. He told me he couldn’t keep living life without me and he needs me and misses me so much. We’re back to normal now and today we were talking on the phone and he starts telling me about all these funny videos that he saved because he couldn’t send them since we weren’t friends and he knows I’d love them. He saved like a dozen videos 😭 he sent them all to me while we were on the phone and I watched them and we laughed together but it melted my heart that he thought of me still and saved all the videos because they reminded him of me. I always say I hate men and they are all bad but this man is a good one and if we don’t ever end up together, his wife is going to be so lucky and treated so well. (We have never had sex in our 5 years. I’m 26 he is 28)
