Anxiety during labor?
I’ve been suffering with anxiety and panic attacks for as long as I can remember. They get so bad I literally always feel like I’m dying. I always hear horror stories of labor being “the closest thing to death” and it’s terrifying me. If I feel that way at all i know I’ll definitely have the worst panic attack during labor. I came off my anxiety meds as soon as I found out I was pregnant to make sure my baby would be as healthy as possible. But now I’m just wondering what I can do to make sure I’ll be safe and not panic during labor? I also keep hearing about moms being in so much pain they feel like passing out. My problem is I’m scared if I feel like passing out I actually will. Has anyone else felt like this or does anyone have any tips on having the safest/calmest delivery possible?
